第一节
One possible version:
Good evening! My name is Li Hua. It’s my honor to be here to share with you one of my favourite
films.
The film that impresses me most is Hi, Mom, directed by the celebrated actress Jia Ling, who also
plays the leading role. It describes Jia travelling back to the year 1981, when she meets her mother at a
young age and becomes her friend hoping to improve her life and make her happy.
This film has received many positive reviews. Many moviegoers can’t help but shed tears because
of the main characters’ sincere affection for each other. I strongly recommend you to watch it.
That’s all. Thank you for listening!
第二节
Two possible versions:
Soon Dad came home and heard the good news. “Where is your spelling test, Jane?” Dad asked
eagerly. Jane looked away from her father, pulling out the paper. Dad fixed his eyes on the paper, a
pleasant smile lifting the corner of his mouth. “I’m proud of you, sweetie.” Jane didn’t respond and
forced a smile. Meanwhile a sense of guilt rose inside her. Feeling she didn’t deserve the prize, she lay
in bed, wide awake the whole night.
The next morning, Jane went to school earlier than usual. Mrs. White was unlocking the classroom.
“You are an early bird.” Mrs. White said. Jane’s hands trembled. She handed her teacher the spelling
paper and the dictionary. “I can’t keep this. I misspelled “honestly” and you didn’t catch it.” For a
moment, the teacher stood quietly reading the note on the dictionary. Then picking up her pen, she
crossed out the word “perfect” and wrote “honest” before returning the dictionary to Jane. “Keep this,
but for honesty.”
Soon Dad came home and heard the good news. “Honey, show me your paper!” Dad smiled.
Dancing in his eyes were joy and happiness. She was too embarrassed to look into Dad’s eyes. Sensing
something unusual, Dad asked gently, “What’s wrong, baby?” Hearing this Jane couldn’t help sobbing,
tears welling up in her eyes. Then she told Dad the truth. Thinking for a while, Dad patted her on the
shoulder affectionately and let her make her own decision. Torn between the honor and conscience, she
had a restless night tossing and turning in bed.
The next morning, Jane went to school earlier than usual. Having paced up and down restlessly in
front of the teacher’s office, she finally gathered courage and plodded in. Seeing her, the teacher was a
little surprised. “Hi, Jane, you come so early today.” “Mrs. White, I don’t deserve the prize because I
made an error which you didn’t find.” After saying that with her face flushed, she handed the paper and
the prize to the teacher. Looking at the paper for a while, the teacher smiled, “You did spell a word
wrong, but the prize still belongs to you. It’s not for your perfect score, but for your honesty.” Hearing
that, Jane grinned from ear to ear, a wave of happiness flooding over her.
部分解析
听力原稿
(Text 1)
W: Do you like ice skating or skateboarding more?
M: I like both, but my favorite sport is skiing. I love the thrill when I'm going so fast!
(Text 2)
M: How much longer is the garlic bread going to take? The noodles are almost ready to serve.
W: I began to bake it a minute ago, so it'll still be a while. How about the salad?
M: It still needs to be prepared.
(Text 3)
M: I'm starting to worry. The cat hasn't come home yet, and it's getting dark. Should we call her again?
W: No need. When she wants to eat, she'll jump in through the window.
(Text 4)
W: Have you heard the new Beyonce album? It's called Lemonade.
M: No, I haven't listened to it yet. Speaking of lemonade, I could really use something to drink.
(Text5)
W: Can we eat food during the test?
M: Only drinks are allowed, unless you have a medical excuse.
W: I need to eat every hour, or my blood pressure will drop.
(Text 6)
M: Why did I get such a bad grade on my history paper? I spent hours researching the topic, and I
checked it three times for mistakes.
W: Well, your writing was fine -- and what you wrote about England was great.
M: So, I don't get it. What was the problem?
2
W: You didn't follow my directions, Charles. Everyone was supposed to write about the history of the
Internet.
(Text 7)
W: Fancy meeting you here. Jack!
M: Hi, Lucy! It's been almost three years since we last met.
W: So, how has everything been going?
M: It's really a long story. I went to Britain for my further study and two years later I went back to
China. I worked as an English teacher at a language training school for a short while and then settled in
Shanghai.
W: That's great. What are you doing at the moment?
M: I intend to find a job in advertisement. Do you have a good place to recommend?
W: Oh, yes. But perhaps we can chat about that while dining.
M: That's a good idea. Let's find a table and get seated.
(Text 8)
W: How are things going, Rod?
M: Not bad, Jane.
W: I heard you have moved to the countryside. How do you like the travel to and from London every
day?
M: It was terrible at first, especially getting up at 5:30 to catch that 6:30 train. But now I'm used to it.
W: Don't you think it's an awful waste of time? I couldn't bear to spend three hours sitting in a train
every day.
M: I used to feel the same as you, but now I quite enjoy it.
W: How do you pass the time? Do you bring some work with you to do on the train?
M: Ah, that's a good question. In the morning, I just sit in comfort and read the papers to catch up on the
news. On the way home at night, I relax with a good book or chat with friends.
W: I suppose you know lots of people on the train now.
(Text 9)
W: So, Jackie, what is the Burning the Clocks?
M: It's a winter festival. There's an enormous fire on the beach and fireworks.
W: When does it take place
M: It takes place on the shortest day of the year -- on December 21st. It's to celebrate the shortest day
and to give energy to the sun so that the days can get longer again.
W: To give energy to the sun?
M: Yes. The locals believe that building big fires on the shortest day gives energy to the sun and helps it
make the days longer. The parade starts at 7 o'clock in the evening. It takes about an hour. And the
burning of the clocks and the fireworks starts at the same time, but finishes at about 9 o'clock.
W: So, tell me more about the clocks.
M: The clocks aren't real clocks. They're paper clocks, in all kinds of beautiful designs. People work for
weeks to make them. They walk through the town with the clocks so that everyone can see them before
they burn them on an enormous fire.
(Text 10)
Hi, Mr. Trent. This is Sharon Star calling. I tried several times to get through to you at the cell
number you give me, but it has been busy for the last 20 minutes. Anyway, Mr. Trent, I hope you can
get this message. I'd like to say I'm sorry, but I won't be able to get to the interview on time. We will
have to make it some other time. Unfortunately, there has been a major accident on St. Kilda Road and I
have been caught in a traffic jam for over an hour. There is absolutely no chance of me making it this
afternoon. I hope this won't be a major inconvenience to you. I'm available for an interview anytime
tomorrow or even this evening, if you have the time. Let me give you my mobile phone number again.
It's 777-0045. I'm looking forward to your reply. Thank you very much. And bye now.
