It is widely acknowledged that sports play an important part in health. Though as a high school
student, we are occupied with heavy study tasks, we still have to pay more attention to doing sports.
Initially, when it comes to the benefits of doing sports for us students, not only can we gain physical
health, but also our mind can get refreshed, which enables us to well throw ourselves into our study.
Since doing sport has such a great impact on us, here comes my suggestions. For one thing, we are
supposed to take doing sports as a routine and spend proper time on it, sticking to regular exercises at
least three times a week. For another, choose various kinds of sports that suit us and never skip PE class
but seize any chance to promote our health.
To sum up, be sporty be healthy. So lets develop a habit of doing sports from now on!

范文 1
Just as I was about to start, Dad said, “Joanna, it’s your turn to do the dishes.” What my dad said
hit me deeply and a sense of depression overwhelmed me. But without any delay, I dashed to the kitchen,
only to find a pile of dirty dishes lying in the sink. After what seemed to be a century, the pile of dishes
had been tidied up eventually. Stepping out of the kitchen and looking up at the clock, so astonished
was I that I couldn’t believe it was already 10 o’clock. In order to go to bed on time as scheduled, I had
no choice but to draw only a simple plant on my paper, without any decorations.
Looking at the big “F” on my paper, I started to reflect on what I had done these days. It occurred
to me that the reason why I failed was not my inability but my inappropriate arrangements of time.
There must be something that was unable to turn down when I was about to resume my project. Those
were exactly the distractions that really blocked me in front of the project. Therefore, I learned an
impressive lesson from it that we had to finished what we must to do before doing what we wanted to
do because only when we scheduled our time appropriately can we did everything better.
范文 2
Just as I was about to start, Dad said, “Joanna, it’s your turn to do the dishes.” A sudden wave of
inability scrabbled me. Dashing into the kitchen, I was driven unable to utter a word at the sight of
messy dishes. It cost me what seemed to be a thousand years to cut through the dirt and reorder plates
in place. Stepping out of the kitchen and looking up at the clock, “Goddess! It’ s 10 o clock!” I exclaimed.
My brain went blank for I realized I didn’t have a draft for my project. Time ticking down, I had no
option but to copy and pile up the information on the book, an obviously careless version of work done.
Looking at the big “F” on my paper, I started to reflect on what I had done these days. Instead of
sparing no efforts to accomplish an art project that would made me proud, I was caught in between by
too many unexpected errands. Instead of focusing on one project, I was easily distracted by what was
not even close to my target. Overwhelmed by a strong sense of shame, I came to realize that not only
should I learn to balance things in my life properly, but also I should pay more attention to what was
my top priority.

(Text 1)
W: You’re always cleaning around the house on weekends. I think you must enjoy it.
M: Not really.
W: To my surprise. But your house is tidy and clean.
M: I know. I’d rather relax or go hiking. But weekends are the only time I can clean the house.
(Text 2)
W: Hey George, you look tired. What have you been up to?
M: I’ve just got back from the Philippines. The flight was long, but it was great; the beaches were
beautiful and the hotel was really relaxing.
W: Wow, amazing!
(Text 3)
W: Alan and I are going to eat at the restaurant by the station after the meeting. Would you like to
come along?
M: I went there about two months ago, and the service was pretty slow.
W: Well, I heard they had a new manager a couple of weeks ago, so maybe its better now. And it’s
close enough to walk to.
(Text 4)
M: I have no idea whether my workmates will come to the party or not.
W: Don’t worry. We have enough food for all of them.
(Text 5)
W: How is your brother doing?
M: He’s great. He’s been training hard for a 42 kilometer race in June.
W: That’s fantastic. What’s he doing to prepare?
M: He runs about 10 kilometers every other day and he watches his diet carefully.
(Text 6)
W: Good afternoon. Thank you for calling Wilson Law Firm. This is Monica.
M: Hi, Monica, this is Carl from Wholesale Office Supplies. I am returning your call about the broken
copy machine in your shop. I can come by and fix it tomorrow afternoon if that’s okay.
W: Actually, I have quite a few documents that I need to copy as soon as possible. Is there any chance
you could come this afternoon?
M: Hmm I could probably fit you in sometime late this afternoon. I’ll call you about 30 minutes
before I get there.
W: Okay, thank you. See you then.
