二）相关知识点讲解、方法总结
1.过去进行时定义：表示过去某一时刻或某一时间段内正在进行或发生的动作。
2.过去进行时的结构：
（1）肯定句：主语+was/were+doing，当主语是单一和单三时，be 用was；其余人称都用 were。
e.g.I was reading newspaper at that time.那时我正在看报纸。
They were watching TV from 8：00 to 9：00 the day before yesterday.前天 8点到 9点他们在看电
视。
（2）否定句：主+was/were not+doing。
e.g.He was not playing football when I saw him.当我看到他的时候，他没在踢足球。
（3）一般疑问句：was/were+主+doing？，肯定回答是Yes，主语+was/were；否定回答是No，主语+
was/were+not。
e.g.Was he singing？Yes，he was./No，he wasn't.他在唱歌吗？ 是的，他在唱。/不，他没有。
（4）特殊疑问句：what was/were +主+doing？
3.过去进行时的用法：
1. 表示过去某一时刻正在进行的动作。
昨天的这个时候我正在做家务。
I was doing housework in that time yesterday.
2. 表示过去某一时段正在进行的动作。
那些天他们一直在植树。
They were planting trees those days .
3. 过去进行时可表示两个动作同时进行。
当我刷抖音的时候，我妈妈正在做饭。
While I was play ing Tik Tok , my mother was cooking.
4.过去进行时的时间标志：
1.at this（that）time，at that moment
2.at 9 o’clock yesterday morning
3.from 6 to 9 yesterday
4.those days，last night
5.见到 when 和while 引导的一般过去时的句子（时间状语从句）
When 可表示瞬间动作，while 用于俩个延续性动作同时发生。（只做了解）
5.现在分词的变化规则
（1）一般：情况下，直接在动词后加-ing
work----working sleep-----sleeping study-----studying
（2）二般：动词以不发音的-e 结尾，要去-e 加-ing
take-----taking make-----making dance-----dancing
（3）三般：以重读闭音节结尾，并呈现“辅元辅”结构的动词，要双写词尾字母，再加-ing
cut----cutting put-----putting begin------beginning
（4）四班：以-ie 结尾的动词，把ie 变成y再加-ing
lie---lying 躺；撒谎 tie-----tying 捆 die----dying 死亡
6.过去进行时用法口诀：
主语在句首，was，were 跟其后，现在分词跟着走，其他成分不可丢，表示过去动作正进行，句中应有过去时间
点。一般疑问句，把be 提句前，否定句式也简单，be 后只把not 添。
