Module 4 Seeing the doctor
语法:现在完成时（三）
一、表示动作或状态从过去某时开始，一直延续至今，可能刚刚结束，
也可能继续下去。常与 for 或since 引导的时间状语（从句）连用。
用how long 提问，谓语动词用延续性动词。
for + 时间段
Eg: I lived here for about ten years.
since + 时间点：
Eg: We have been very busy since the new term began.
since + 从句（一般过去时）
Eg: I have learnt English since I was 5 years old.
二、短暂性动词不能与表示一段时间状语连用
短暂性动词变延续性动词的情况：
begin(start) --- be on;
go there --- be there;
come back --- be back;
come here --- be here;
open --- be open;
close --- be close;
die --- be dead;
marry --- be married;
finish --- be over;
go to bed --- be in bed;
leave --- be away;
return --- be back;
get out --- be out;
fall asleep --- be asleep;
lose --- be lost;
fall ill --- be ill;
borrow --- keep;
put on --- wear/ be on;
become --- be;
get to know --- know;
buy --- have (own);
receive --- have;
catch a cold --- have a cold;
go to sleep --- sleep
Eg: I have borrowed that book for one month. (×)
→I have kept that book for one month. (√)
瞬间动词可用于现在完成时中，但不可接一段时间。
Unit 1 I haven’t done much exercise since I got my computer.
1.see the doctor 看医生
2.ill (adj.) “不健康的；有病的”
---(n.) illness “疾病”
--- （比较级）worse
--- （最高级）worst
feel ill 生病
Eg: He can’t come to the meeting, because he is ill today.
= He can’t come to the meeting because of illness today.
ill “有病的”作表语，不作定语，后接 with 和from 表原因，若 ill 作定
语，表“恶劣的；邪恶的”
sick“生病的”在句中作定语，还可表示“呕吐的，恶心的”sick 后可用
with 表原因
Eg: That ill woman killed her own daughter.
My daughter was sick with a cold.
3.have (got) a stomachache
胃痛；肚子疼
4.hurt(v.) “疼痛”
当疼痛部位作主语时为不及物动词
Eg: My legs hurt. 我腿疼。
当人作主语，宾语为受伤部位时，为及物动词。
Eg: I hurt my leg. 我伤了我的腿。
Eg: My head hurts. = I have a headache.
= I have a pain in my head. 我头疼。
