1. Notices

notice 做可数名词，布告，通知，启事。

例句：The notice on the door said that the library was closed.

There are some notices on the blackboard.

要点拓展：notice 还可以做动词，注意，察觉，看到。常用于 notice sb do sth 和notice sb

doing sth 结构中。

例句：I noticed him get on the bus.

I noticed him entering the office.

练习：Goldilocks________(注意到) a little house, so she hurried towards it.

答案：noticed

2. Please look at the information below.

【1】information 信息，不可数名词，它不能说成 an information ，应该说成 a piece of

information。

例句：He gave me a piece of information about Hu Ge.

We can get much information from the Internet.

要点辨析：information, news, message

information 指在阅读、观察、谈话或书信往来中特别关注的消息、情报、资料等。

news 不可数名词，通过各种新闻媒介向公众报道的最新消息，或原来未曾听到过而现在听

到的消息。

message 可数名词，一般指口头传递的或书写的“消息”。

例句：He wants to get further information.

There’s a piece of interesting news in today’s newspaper.

She often sends messages to me with her mobile phone.

【2】below 在……下面，指处于比某物低的位置，不一定在物体的正下方，其反义词是

above。

例句：I want to have a rest under the tree.

There is a light over the table.

better 是比较级，较好的，更好的。短语 feel better 感觉好些。

例句：You’ll feel better after a good night’s sleep.

Take the medicine three times a day, and you’ll feel better soon.

要点拓展：(1) feel well 感觉身体好，well 是形容词，健康的，身体好的。

例句：I don’t feel well. I think I have a cold.

(2) feel good 内心感觉好，不能表示人的身体状况。

例句：I feel good these days, because I passed the exam.

4. Are you worrying about what to wear to a party or how to design your home?

【1】worry about 为……而担忧，属于“动词+介词”结构，宾语必须放在 about 后。

要点拓展：worry about 也可以表达为 be worried about，更强调处于担心的状态。

例句：Mrs Brown is always worried about her son.

【2】“疑问词+不定式”结构的用法

句中 what to wear to a party 和how to design your home 属于“疑问词+不定式”结构，在句

注意：在 what to do 结构中，不能再加宾语 sth；而在 how to do 结构中，do 后面必须接

sth。
