people 集合名词，表复数概念；做“民族”讲时，有单、复数之分。

5. job 工作
job 是可数名词，工作，既可以是长期工作，也可以是短期工作。do a good job 相当于 do
well，做得好，做得棒。

要点辨析 job, work
job 多指具体的某种工作，有时也指临时性的工作，是可数名词。
work 泛指体力或脑力劳动，工作或职业，也指抽象意义的工作，是不可数名词。
