语法填空　(2019·郑州三模改编)

Learning English used to be about developing four skills:

reading, writing, listening and speaking. After all, that's the exams

are designed—with four skills tested separately.

But over the years, educators have come (realize) that these

four skills should never have been separated, but practiced all at

once. And the best way to do that is, perhaps, through public

speaking.

According to Mei Deming, a professor of English at Shanghai

International Studies University, giving a speech in an international

language (require) a speaker to integrate(使成为一体) knowledge

and content (mental) and express the result systematically. Speakers

must draw on the beauty of the language as a whole to communicate

with the audience.

Shi Guohua, English teacher, held a similar view. He said that

the key to acquiring English today lies the ability to express oneself

rather than in simply passing exams. He also (stress) that

communication should go both ways since traditional English

speaking education has focused too much on getting messages out

while (ignore) the receiver of these messages—the audience.

As China plays an increasingly important role in global

conversations, there will be more (chance) for young Chinese

people to present China and tell attracting stories. And to tell

Chinese stories (well), we first need to develop a more overall

English skill. Working on public speaking is, perhaps, the place to

start.

5．an　考查冠词。此处泛指一名英语老师，应用不定冠词。

English 首字母为元音因素，故填不定冠词 an。

6．in　考查动词短语。根据语境“掌握英语的关键在于能

表达自己而不仅仅是通过考试”可知。此处是固定短语 lie in

“在于”。

7．stressed　考查动词的时态。句意：他也强调，交流应该

双向进行。结合上下文语境可知，此处时态应用一般过去时，

故填 stressed。

8．ignoring　考查省略句。句意：传统英语口语教育只是

强调把信息表达出来，与此同时忽视了这些信息的接受者——

观众。此处为状语从句的省略句，省略了 it is，其完整形式为：

while it is ignoring the receiver of these messages—the audience ，

故填 ignoring。

9．chances　考查名词的数。句意：对年轻的中国人来说将

会有更多的机会展示中国，讲述有趣的故事。chance 为可数名

词，前有 more 修饰，应用复数形式，故填 chances。

10．better　考查比较级。句意：为了更好地讲述中国故事，

我们首先需要培养更为全面的英语技能。根据句意及后半句中

的more 可知，此处应使用比较级，故填 better。

短文改错　(2019·江西盟校联考改编)

It's time for us to graduate. Before parting, our class is going to

hold the last class meeting, which theme will be the Past Golden

Days. We plan to have several activities to bring a unforgettable

ending to our beautiful days. Firstly, we will watch the photos take

during the three years, especial about our school events. It will

surely make everyone to recall those precious moments. Then we'll

extend our sincere gratitude to our teachers. It is they whom give

without asking anything for return. Then came one of the most

important moment in our life—a big party. In a word, I hope the last

class meeting will meaningful.
