【答案】Social Practice in the Red-Star Community
In order to arouse students’ awareness of social service, social practice in the Red-Star community was
conducted by our school last weekend.
As was scheduled, we students gathered at our school’s gate and set off at 7:00. Upon arrival there, we were
classified into three groups. Some students in the first group were in charge of collecting the scattered garbage on
the paths and put them into the different trashcans according to garbage classification. In the meanwhile, there
were other students cleaning and wiping the notice board with care, using various cleaners. Besides, the rest of
students offered timely assistance to those in need, such as taking heavy boxes for the old.
Although all the work made us exhausted and backbreaking, by participating in this social practice we
benefitted a lot, temporarily refreshing ourselves from the busy study task as well as strengthening the bond
between us and society.
