2023 National Day Holiday Movie Recommendations
Looking for some amazing movies to watch during the 2023 National Day holiday? Look
no further! Here are four fantastic recommendations that are perfect for high school students:
Under the Light
It’s a story set in the real world and follows two characters. They work together to solve a
crime concerning powerful groups. As they uncover more clues, they start to discover a hidden
plan that suggests something much bigger going on.
Moscow Mission
It is adapted from a true story concerning an astonishing “Sino-Russian Train Robbery” that
shocked people both in China and abroad. It follows the story of Chinese police as they run after
International criminals. The video shows thrilling scenes including car chases, gunfights and
explosions, creating a sense of excitement.
The Volunteers: To the War
It describes the early years of New China in 1949, a time when the country faced various
challenges. In order to protect the hard-earned peace and ensure long-term stability, the Chinese
People’s Volunteer Army decided to enter Korea in October 1950. This marked the beginning of
the “Resistance against US Aggression and Aid to Korea” war.
Lose to Win
It tells about the story of Wei Guozheng, an overconfident basketball coach who heads a
special team of players with learning disabilities. As they start a seemingly impossible basketball
training journey, they come together to achieve an amazing goal.

I slowly began to write. My best friend is Hayley. She’s a soccer winner who colored her
hair red to support her team. She plays the guitar as I do, and we go to perform in school every
