As I’ve grown older, my connection to nature has become stronger. Recently, I was fortunate
to spend a good part of a week immersed in the wilderness, following the teachings of my father
from my childhood. Ever since I was 10, my sister, father, and I would load up his canoe (独木舟)
with supplies and venture into the heart of Algonquin Park.
There were years when I ignored the call of Algonquin, caught up in the busyness of life —
