of you too young to remember, it was against the law because it was at first based on a ship out at sea. Radio Caroline opened in 1964
and closed down four years later. At that time there were no other radio stations playing pop music for young people and it quickly
became really popular.
The exhibition, as you would expect, includes the best-loved music from that time. There are records by groups such as The
Beatles, who actually visited Radio Caroline. You can also see some of the letters sent by Radio Caroline' s thousands of fans. It* s
also interesting to listen to the interviews with some of the DJs who worked at Radio Caroline. They were very famous back then.
