Good morning,everyone!Recently a survey has been done in our school about

whether it is necessary to set aside a period in each school day for individual study.

According to the survey,more than half of the students feel it beneficial to do so

while 15 percent hold an opposite view.In addition,the rest seem to care little about it.

As for me,the time for individual study helps us students in many ways.Firstly,the

period will serve as an open opportunity to review what we’ve learnt

previously.Also,we can use this period to do our homework so that we can have more

time to preview the lessons.Moreover,we can turn to the teachers or classmates

immediately we encounter any problems of learning.Only by using our time more

efficiently can we become a better learner.

Last Saturday,our class held a meaningful activity showing our sincere concern for

the elderly in the nursing home.

The moment we went there,all of us got started immediately.Some of us cleaned

the rooms and windows carefully,some chatted with the elderly delightfully,and some

even sang beautiful songs.This wonderful and happy moment lasted for more than four

hours.At last,we left with full enjoyment and pride,promising more regular visits.
