We have an old musical instrument. It is called a clavichord( 翼琴). It was made in Germany in 1681. Our clavichord is
kept in the living-room. It has belonged to our family for a long time. The instrument was bought by my grandfather many
years ago. Recently it was damaged by a visitor. She tried to play jazz on it! She struck the keys too hard and two of the
strings were broken. My father was shocked. Now we are not allowed to touch it. It is being repaired by a friend of my
father's.

句型
1. be 动词在一般过去时中的变化

Am/ is → was
Are → were
否定、疑问句的变化和 is, am, are 一样,即否定句在 was/ were 后加 not, 一般疑问句把 was/ were 提到句首。
2. 行为动词的过去时
肯定句:主语+ 动词过去式+其他 → He watched a film yesterday.
否定句:主语+ didn’t+动词原形+其他 → He didn’t go home yesterday.
一般疑问句:Did+主语+动词原形+其他 → Did Tom go home yesterday? - Yes, he did. / No, he didn’t.
特殊疑问句:(1)疑问词+did+主语+动词原形? → What did Tom do yesterday?
(2)疑问词当主语时:疑问词+动词过去式? → Who want to the park yesterday?
过去式变化规则
(1)规则变化
一般动词 +ed planted, watered, climbed
以不发音的 e结尾 +d liked
辅音字母加 y结尾 变 y为i, +ed Study—studied; cry—cried
重读闭音节结尾,末尾只有一个辅音字母 双写最后一个字母+ed stop—stopped; plan—planned
(2)常见动词不规则变化
am → → wasn’t
is→ →wasn’t
are→ → weren’t
