6、collect

8、shall
modal v.

【词意辨析】shall 和will
shall 与I或we 连用，预示将要发生的事情。
-I shall be in touch with you again shortly. 我很快会再和你联系。
will 与I和we 连用，也与 you、he、she、it、they 连用，与 shall 相比，多用于口语或较随
便的场合，口语中通常缩略成’ll。
-She’ll never finish in time. 她决不能按时完成。
★shall 和will 均可以用以表示决心。shall 的词义较文，与除I或we 的其他代词连用时，尤
其显得庄重。
9、cost
v. 花费 e.g. The dress costs 50 yuan. 这条连衣裙花了 50 元。
What does it cost?(=How much does it cost?) 这东西值多少钱？
Compiling a dictionary costs much time and patience. 编撰字典要花费很多时间和耐心。

现在进行时态： be + doing
