一、数词的用法
1. 数词的定义：表示数目或顺序的词叫数词，数词分为基数词和序数词。表示数目多少的数词叫基数
词；表示顺序的数词叫序数词。

口诀： 一二三单独记；八去 t，九除 e，ve 要用 f替， 整十基数变序数,先把 ty 变成 tie； 要是遇到
两位数，十位基数个位序， 最后加上去 th.
2. 数词的特定表示法
1)分数表示法。 分子用基数词，分母用序数词。分子如果大于 1，则分母序数词用复数形式）

2)小数表示法。
小数只能用基数词表示，其中小数点读作 point，零读作 zero(或o)；小数点之后按数字依次读出。
0.9： zero point nine 3.58: three point fifty-eight
3)百分数表示法（% 读作 percent）

3. 数词的用法（倍数表示法）
　1)主语+谓语+倍数（或分数）+ as + adj. +as
　　　I have three times as many as you.　我有你三倍那么多。
　　2) 主语+谓语+倍数（分数）+ the size(amount，length…) of…
　　　The earth is 49 times the size of the moon.　地球是月球的 49 倍。
　　3)主语+谓语+倍数（分数）+形容词（副词）比较级+than…
The grain output is 8 percent higher this year than that of last year. 今年比去年粮食产量增加 8%。
4. hundred, thousand, million 和billion 的用法。
hundred, thousand, million 和billion 等表示确切数字时，只用其单数形式；但是在表示不确切数字
时，要用其复数形式，并且与 of 连用，表示约数。
There are more than three hundred days in a year. 一年有三百多天。
Thousands of visitors travel to the Great Wall every year. 每年有成千上万的游客游玩长城。
5. 数词的特殊用法
1)表示人的不确切岁数或年代，用几十的复数形式表示。用 in +the/one's +基数词的复数结构。 　　
如：He became a professor _________________．他三十多岁时成为了教授。　　
She was born _____________________________．　她出生在六十年代。
2)在一些表示"一排"或"一组"的词组里；
　 如：They arrived in twos and threes.　他们三三两两的到达了。
注意：序数词在使用时，通常前面要加定冠词 the；但是如果序数词前出现不定冠词 a或an 时，则表示
“再一”，“又一”。
We’ll go over it a second time．　　我们得再念第二遍。
We’ve tried it three times．Must we try it a fourth time?
