宾语从句只看“三点”
1. 连接词
that 没有具体意思，在宾语从句中不充当任何充分，可以省略。
If/whether 意思是“是否”，
where 等五个 W和一个 H, 都有自己的意思。
连接词应该根据上下文来选择。
例如：
(2016 安徽).—Look at the stone bridge! Do you know___________it was built?
—In the 1860s. It is quite old.
A. when B.how C.where D.why
根据后面的 in the 1860s 可知上句问何时，故选 A。
2. 语序
宾语从句需要用陈述句语序（其实所有的从句都要用陈述句语序），尤其原句是特殊疑问句的，现在在
动词后充当宾语从句，就不能再用特殊疑问句了，而应该用陈述句语序，即主语（人 /物）在前，谓语动词
在后（动词包括 be 动词, 情态动词 can/could，will,would,等，助动词 do,does, did）。
例如：
(2019 天津）—Could you tell me _________ for the fruit？
—By paying over the Internet．
A．how much will I pay B．how much I will pay
C．how will I pay D．how I will pay
通过答语可知问支付方式，所以选 D。C项为宾语从句，应该用陈述句语序才对。
3. 时态
当主句是过去时，宾语从句需要用过去的某种时态。除非宾语从句是客观真理类，不以时空为转移，是
习惯性，经常性的动作或状态，这种情况要用一般现在时。
例如：

Our geography teacher said the earth goes around the sound. (客观真理类）
Mary asked what my hobby was.
但是像这个句子就要注意了，主句的 could 只是比 can 礼貌些，不是过去时，因此后面句子不需要用过
去的某种时态。
